About us... 

It all began in 1999 in the picturesque village of Alcala, in the southwest of the island of Tenerife, within walking distance of the famous wave that gives name to our shop, K16 (kilometer 16). This place captivated Jose Luis (owner) since arriving in 1995 to the island. From there, he began his journey in the world of commercial surf opening a small shop in the village, although today it no longer exists, will always be the most emblematic.

Thanks to the confidence and loyalty shown by our customers, good choice of multi-brand surf products we sell and the service we provide, we have grown and improved.
In 2009 we celebrated K16's 10 year anniversary.

Today K16 is the focal point of surf in Tenerife, located in Playa de las Americas, with two Surf Shops, a surf camps  and a surf school whose reputation is unquestioned.
